How to read this page
- Colours
- Green: as it should be. Amber: not set up yet, or waiting for you; nothing is broken. Red: something that worked has stopped.
- Weekly check
- Every Saturday GitHub opens the dashboard, the flow map and the data API, and compares them with the repository: the page fingerprints, the edition and the row counts. It writes one line here. A failed check also opens a GitHub issue.
- WAITING FOR YOU
- Nothing is broken. A source file changed, or the repository has an edition the site does not serve yet. The pipeline stopped before publishing. Read the issue, then merge or close.
- TOO OLD
- No weekly check for more than 8 days. The Saturday schedule may have stopped. Open Actions, choose weekly-check and press Run workflow.
- STUCK
- A job on GitHub started and never reported an end. Run it again from Actions.
- Steps: extract, transform, load
- For a publish: fetching the files, building the tables, loading the database. For the weekly check: fetching the live pages, comparing them with the repository, checking the database and the edition. "BROKE HERE" marks the step that failed; the steps before it worked. "NOT RUN YET" is not an error.
